Earlier this year Shooting Stars Post teamed up with the GTE Federal Credit Union to create a few branding commercials for 2011. The music used in the TV commercials were by a local band called “Have Gun, Will Travel” and the song name was “Blessing And A Curse”. The commercials were such a big hit subsequently the song was used on PBS’s Roadtrip Nation as well as a National Chevrolet Campaign! The song has a country-blues feel to it and seems to get everyone’s feet tapping! The GTE commercials were fun and edgy which was a perfect fit for the song “Blessing And A Curse”. Check out Have Gun, Will Travel they will be performing this Saturday at the Carrollwood Cultural Center at 8 p.m. for the “A Blessing And A Curse Folk Music Festival”. Other artists performing on Saturday are Ronny Elliott and Rebekah Pullet.
