Have you ever wondered how to capture the experience of flying through the air on a zip line? Shooting Stars Post brings the experience to viewers through real time Go Pro video in the new 2013 MOSI Summer Science Camp commercial.
The approach in which the commercials were shot was to specifically capture the action and fun of campers through their point of view! The result is as unique as MOSI’s Summer Science Camp, with layered graphics and animation to emphasis the STEM learning! The commercials were produced by committee, joined forces of Shooting Stars, MOSI marketing and educational teams! What a terrific production day at MOSI, with campers, shooting exciting experiments, simulations, robots, and inventions!
Multiple cameras, lens’ and mounts were used including two Canon 5D MKIIIs, Go Pros, Jib, dolly, robots and even a zip line mounted cameraman.
Post production was handled in house utilizing Cinema 4D, After Effects, Premiere, Avid Media Composer and Red Giant software.
The footage captured the day of the shoot will also be re-purposed for attraction/visitor web videos that will be located on MOSI’s website!
