Shooting Stars Post, Inc. was founded in Tampa, Florida in 1987. Our first demo reel was created the following year in 1988. “We wanted a reel that showcased our creativity and facilities as well as our work” reflected John Samaha, president of SSP. Actor Fred Nasif was the star zombie and host of this creative demo. Animation, zombie make-up, fog machines and much more were used to help create this fun and exciting production demo reel.
“ We even set fire to a building that was to be demolished. We rigged the interior with all sorts of flammables, explosives and effects. Fred got one good take in and the Fire Department swooped in and had a training session with a controlled burn of the building. That’s not something you get to do everyday” commented John Samaha.
