Shooting Stars Post, Inc. and the Pediatric Cancer Foundation teamed up for the 11th annual AGW Capital Advisors Fashion Funds the Cure presented by Neiman Marcus, Mercedes-Benz, and Bright House Networks. Fashion Funds the Cure is a celebration of incomparable strength and courage as girls battling cancer make their debut on the runway escorted by local celebrities.
In preparation for Fashion Funds the Cure, the featured models and their mothers experienced the ultimate day of pampering days at Neiman Marcus a few days before the fashion show. The pampering day was full of relaxation and allowed them to have time away from their rigorous treatments and hospital visits. Every year Shooting Stars Post shoots the footage from the pampering day and then produces a video that is shown the night of the fashion show.
The show was hosted once again by Carson Kressley, famous TV fashion stylist and the girls were escorted down the runway by many of Tampa Bay’s leading athletes.
