Shooting Stars Post, Inc. supported the Pediatric Cancer Foundation this past weekend for the 16th Annual Grand Slam Celebrity Fishing Tournament.
This years event consisted of the Kids Fishing Derby, the Fisherman’s Ball and the two day fishing tournament. This year’s event had a record number of competitive participants and boats thanks to the hard work of many people!
Shooting Stars Post has been a sponsor of this event for 15 years supporting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation with videos that entertain, inspire and motivate for many of their fundraising activities. Three videos were created for this year’s Fisherman’s Ball held on Friday night. This great event was held in the ballroom of the Vinoy Hotel which provided a spectacular backdrop to a special evening in which everyone there helped raise money and awareness for the funding of pediatric cancer research.
The videos included a fun upbeat infographic video showcasing the Grand Slam’s Celebrity Fishing tournaments over the years, the “Heart of a Champion” award video, which celebrates incredible milestones in the lives of pediatric patients and the 2013 “Ted Williams Award”, which went to Jeremy Persinger, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Tires Plus . The video consisted of interviews, photographs and graphics documenting his support for PCF over the years.
John Samaha president of Shooting Stars said “What a great weekend, this is such a first class event and it is gratifying to see our videos make such an impact.”
